A man who was vaccinated against corona in Telangana has died. The incident took place in the Nirmal district.
Vital, 42, who was working as a 108 ambulance driver at the Kuntala Public Health Care Center in Nirmal district, was vaccinated against corona at 11.30 AM on the 19th.
However, he was rushed to hospital at around 2.30 AM on the 20th due to chest pain.
By the time he was taken to the hospital at 5 AM, the District hospital doctors said that he was already dead. Vital’s family says he died of a corona vaccine.
However, the Director of Public Health and Family Welfare said in a statement that ‘Preliminary inquiries had not yet yielded any evidence that Vital had died due to the corona vaccine.
A team of doctors will perform the postmortem according to the guidelines. The District AEFI Committee will examine it.
The committee will then submit a report to the state AEFI committee. The State AEFI Committee will then review the report and submit it to the Central AEFI Committee.’
