The death count in Delhi is still high in the view of corona pandemic. Inspite of strict lockdown, all unfortunate cases have begun to rise these days.
A relative of a sanitation worker at the Rashtrapati Bhavan was tested positive for Covid-19. However she is found to be residing in the complex and not an employee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Off late, the sanitation worker’s daughter-in-law’s mother passed away while grappling with corona virus and all of the family members had attended her funeral.
After probing, the family was discharged to a government facility for quarantine. But the family had tested negative for the novel coronavirus.
However, the daughter-in-law’s covid-19 test results were detected positive on Monday. All the family members who came in first contact have tested negative for the virus.
Following the test outcome, each of the 125 houses in the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex has been put under isolation. 25 houses inside a similar square has been held under severe confinement. Occupants of different houses in the complex can step out for essential goods however, they are under quarantine.
