The differences within the party and group politics are the concerning issues for the YSR Congress Party more than anything. There is no coordination between the leaders in the same area and everyone are involving in fights to show their dominance in the district. Though it is quite common in any party, the situation in the ruling party is definitely off-limits.
Of course, to bring the situation under control, Jagan nominated Vijay Sai Reddy, Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy and YV Subba Reddy as in-charges dividing the state into three parts. But no notable change has been visible and the regular analysis from the three Reddy biggies didn’t yield anything in favor of Jagan.
Recently, on YS Raja Sekhar Reddy’s death anniversary, Vallabhaneni Vamshi and Dutta Rama Chandra Rao got involved in a clash. It is the same case with Karanam Balaram and Aamanchi Krishna Mohan. These group politics are making a way for TDP in those areas and Jagan is very largely concerned about this latest consequence.
So, Jagan is said to be in the thought of appointing MP Pedda Reddy Mithun Reddy as the new YSRCP president. It will allow Jagan to take care of the leaders who are getting involved in ‘war of words’ all over the state and also Mithun Reddy has a very good track record as a person who has been managing the YCP things at the Delhi. Jagan also wants Mithun to share his burden in bringing an end to the group politics within the party.
Peddi Reddy has been one of the most trustable candidates in YSRCP for Jagan Mohan Reddy over the years and the AP CM has immense faith in the capabilities of this MP. So, it may be obvious that Mithun Reddy will take charge of the YSRCP very soon.
