Police have identified a student lying naked on the national highway with severe burns in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She was studying BA second year in a college belonging to former Union minister Swami Chinmayananda.
SP Anand said her body was 60 percent burnt and she was shifted to a hospital in Lucknow for treatment. He said that she was not in a position to speak about who made this to her. He mentioned that the only thing she remembered is the third floor of her college.
The victim’s father told the media that his daughter had expressed suspicions about her classmate. The doctors said that there were burns on her face, neck, chest, and other parts and there was swelling in the neck.
