After so many days of confusion, it is quite clear where Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju was heading with this aggressive behavior of him. The way he made the most of the alleged threatening from the YSRCP supporters in the West Godavari District to become close to the BJP unit appears as a big gamble after all this high drama. But, here comes the twist for the MP.
It is known that Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju isn’t a regular YSRCP leader and he defected from TDP just before the 2019 assembly polls. He never did make his mark in AP politics in a considerable way and started hurling abuses on YSRCP leaders recently. There are many reports that he has been trying to reach out to Amit Shah for a very long time to express this desire to join BJP.
Now, he made some ruckus in the state and wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and is set to meet Amit Shah. Many people still believe that his actual intention behind meeting Shah is to join in BJP after resigning to YSRCP which is definitely a thing to happen in the near future.
But as a twist to MP Raju, there is a talk in BJP circles that no one in the high command is interested to let him join the BJP given his history of defections and political instability. Most importantly he got a negative impression among his own people for everything he did recently. So, where will Krishnam Raju head now?
