The Delhi High Court Bar Association was one of the first judicial associations in the country to strongly condemn the letter that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has written to the Chief Justice of India.
As expected by many, threatening calls were made to the members of the Delhi HC, threatening to kill their family members. The calls were made in a purely factionist fashion, which the members of the Delhi HC immediately reported to the Delhi Police department. Upon investigation, the calls have been traced to have come from Rajampet STD code.
Whoever called these members said that they were calling from abroad, and spoke in Hindi, thinking that they would not be traced out. However, according to the latest reports, with the STD code already having been found out, it is being said that the Delhi Police might at any time storm Kadapa and trace out those who made these calls, and take severe action against them.
On the other hand, the Kadapa police are saying that they have no information about the Delhi Police planning to come to Kadapa, but of course, they would say that. The Andhra Pradesh POlice department has already become infamous in the country, for carrying out orders of the government pretty blindly, and for staying blind to everything that the government wants to stay blind to. As such, oppositions are saying that it wouldn’t be surprising if the Kadapa Police tries to safeguard those who are responsible for these calls.
