Hyderabad Police on Wednesday arrested Telugu film producer G. Ashok Reddy in the suicide case of Telugu Tv actress Kondapalli Sravani, who hanged herself on september 8 at her Madhuranagar residence.
Sai Krishna Reddy and Sravani had a love affair for three years. However, due to some conflict they were away since 2018. Meanwhile she fell in love with tik tok star ‘Devaraj’.
Later Devaraj found that Sravani was having a relationship with both Ashok Reddy and Sai Krishna Reddy. He compelled her to leave both. He avoided her and wanted to end the relationship. But Sravani tried to persuade him. Meanwhile in the audio leaks, Sai Krishna too pressurised her to leave Devaraj, and threatened that he would kill Devaraj. To which she said she would die even before that.
Sai Krishna Reddy and Devaraj Reddy who were identified as A1 and A2 criminals were sent to judicial custody for abetment to suicide. Ashok Reddy, who produced hit movies like “RX100”, is the third accused to be captured in the case.
On hearing the news, Ashok Reddy evaded on Monday. Police had issued notice on the producer, commanding him to appear before them. He, nevertheless, went into hiding and his mobile phone was also deliberately switched off. Later he was arrested.
Before summoning for court proceedings, the producer was taken to the Osmania Hospital for medical check-up.
