J.C.Prabhakar Reddy, the ex-MLA of Tadipatri district was arrested for illegally registering trucks and was behind the bars for 55 days along with his son. After the Anantapur Court granted him bail, he had returned with his son from Kadapa Jail.
However, within 24 hours of being out, J.C. was once again arrested after being booked under several sections, the most important of which is the one where he has been accused of talking inappropriately with a Police officer, who belongs to the SC community. Not just that, JC has also been booked for not adhering to Coronavirus precautions.
The Anantapur court has once again granted bail to JC now, as he tested positive for Coronavirus recently. Fact is, the Kadapa jail was already known to have many coronavirus positive cases, and yet the government decided to take JC there. JC is now expected to receive treatment, while on the conditional bail he has received.
Speaking about the incident, TDP member Nara Lokesh has said that the government of AP is exacting revenge on the opposition leaders by booking them in cases and making sure they suffer. He also said that Jagan is responsible for JC contracting Coronavirus.
