Just like every year on NTR Jayanthi, even this year, Nandamuri family members have visited NTR ghat in Hyderabad and paid floral tributes to NTR.
Jr NTR along with Kalyan Ram, who visited the ghat in the early hours of Tuesday, was deeply upset over zero arrangements for his grandfather’s birthday. It was just like any other day, with no flowers or any kind of decorations.
Upset over this, Tarak himself started decorating the ghat, and also asked his fans around to do the same with flowers. With the support of fans and others around, the entire ghat was decorated in a short time.
On May 28th every year, there used to heavy arrangements at the ghat. TDP followers, Nandamuri fans and others used to visit the ghat in large numbers and offer garlands at the ghat.
But as TDP had to face a miserable debacle in the recent elections, none of the party workers came forward to the media after the result, and seems not even in a mood to celebrate NTR’s birthday. Even the TDP circles had to cancel Mahanadu celebrations this year, as there was not much time between elections result and NTR’s birthday.
So it could be the reason for TDP circles for ignoring arrangements at the NTR ghat. However, Jr NTR’s gesture at the ghat has won the hearts around and the netizens are opining that it could be a true tribute to the legendary NTR.
