After a miserable defeat of TDP in the assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh, not much is heard from any of the party leaders except TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu. Even Naidu spoke very briefly about the defeat and congratulated Jagan upon his victory.
Naidu, who planned to meet the party leaders and discuss about the reasons behind such a massive victory, seems have cancelled all such plans now. The key leaders have not even constituted a fact-finding committee to analyze the reasons behind the defeat.
Even there is no response from the party’s former ministers, when a few of the former MLAs of the party were trying to meet. Adding to it, even all the social media wings of TDP are silent, as there is nothing much to share about the party now.
With 23 MLAs and 3 MPs in hand, TDP which is supposed to play the main opposition role, maintaining an utter silence, would strengthen the already powerful YSRCP more. So it would be better, if TDP realizes it and fasten its seat belts soon.
