Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Power Star’ and Nutan Naidu’s ‘Parannageevi’ are two of the most talked-about films currently, owing to their satirical nature. While Varma’s ‘Power Star’ is a satirical on Janasenani Pawan Kalyan, ‘Parannageevi’ is a mockery of Ram Gopal Varma.
The trailer of ‘Power Star’ was released earlier today and it is nothing more than a spoof of Pawan Kalyan’s political career. It also targets noted people like Chandrababu Naidu, Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Bandla Ganesh, and a popular Telugu director who is close to Pawan.
Going by the latest buzz, the makers of ‘Parannageevi’ are planning to get back at Varma in what could be considered as a like for like reprisal.
Reportedly, the producer of ‘Parannageevi’, Thota Chandrasekhar is planning to release the film on July 25th, which also marks the releasing RGV’s ‘Power Star’. The movie unit wants to lock horns with Varma’s satirical film on Pawan Kalyan.
Shakalaka Shankar is playing Ram Gopal Varma’s role in ‘Parannageevi’ and the first look poster of the film was released today morning. It depicts the alleged distasteful nature of RGV.
It looks like both ‘Parannageevi’ and ‘Power Star’ will be releasing on the same day and this clash is certainly going to be an interesting one. ‘Power Star’ will be releasing on Varma’s RGVWorldTheater. The makers of ‘Parannageevi’ are yet to reveal the platform on which the film will be releasing.
