After the cancellation of the 10th examinations, the KCR’s government became alert by taking many crucial decisions as a part of the Covid-19 prevention measures by conducting review meetings in consecutive days and every meeting took place in Pragathi Bhavan.
To be frank, the situation in Telangana and especially in Hyderabad has turned out of control. Most importantly, Corona Virus is prevalent among the people’s representatives as today, the third MLA was tested positive for COVID-19. 90% of the cases that are being registered daily are from Hyderabad city and KCR has been conducting back to back review meetings in the same city.
Despite taking every preventive measure like thermal screening, sporting a face mask, maintaining social distancing, the infection of the TRS MLAs is a very potent threat to the government. So, we can say that KCR is taking a very huge risk by conducting these meetings even they are for the greater good of the citizens.
Apparently, Telangana’s health mister Eetela Rajendra Prasad’s OSD (Officer of Special Department) was tested positive for COVID-19 who has been with the minister for two days before the diagnosis. Yesterday, Eetela was at the review meeting with all the members in the Pragathi Bhavan. So, CM KCR should find another way to conduct these review meetings without taking these kinds of risks.
