Lock down created huge impact on several individuals. Few people who work as daily labor lost their livelihood and are starving on the streets, few lower middle class people who live on daily income are struggling to made ends meet without asking anyone for help, few middle class people who enjoy movies in theatres and visit malls are confined to their houses, few rich who are quite busy all the time got few days to spend with family.
Among all the kinds of people, the ones who are highly impacted are the alcoholics. Surviving such a long span without touching liquor made few alcoholics violent. But when the liquor shops got opened, they all went into relaxation mode, standing in the lines and patiently waiting for their turns.
In Telangana, liquor sales touched the peaks. In just 4 days, the state collected 600 Crores from liquor sale. Tax on this amount is helping the economy of the state. As Lock down release dates are getting extended, it is becoming tough for the state government to pull in the money to keep the economy of the state stable. At this moment, liquor shops are helping the state financially.
