Jagan who is very determined to make his every plan successful is facing severe heat from the high court as well from the opposition over the sensational decisions he took so far. One of them is the introduction of English Medium into government schools and giving it as the only option for the children to study.
Though it appears like a very good decision, there has been a huge uproar as the government cannot make only one medium available for the children without giving any choice. Even the High Court of Andhra Pradesh said the same and instructed the government to make every medium of education available for the people.
In the meanwhile, the government conducted a survey, in which, about 96% of parents extended support to the government’s decision to introduce English as a medium of teaching at the primary level. Even Jagan attained this much majority on his side, there is nothing he could achieve from this survey.
High Court didn’t say to take survey from the parents and do as they prefer. Even if there is 1% opposition to his decision, he should abort his plan. So, his survey is a failed idea and moreover the survey forms were handed over by the Ward and Grama volunteers to the parents and there might be a possible manipulation that happened in answering the survey, as some opine.
So, it is clear that with this survey, there is nothing the YSRCP achieved and they need to come up with a better plan to convince the court.
