Akkineni lad Akhil will be next seen in Most Eligible Bachelor, which is being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The film’s shooting has been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic situation. In the latest media interaction, Akhil Akkineni revealed that he is utilizing the lockdown period to watch films and work on his mind & body. Akhil also admitted that he is going to basics.
Akhil stated that “Due to this lockdown, I’m going back to basics. I am rewatching all the films that inspired me to become an actor. I haven’t had so much time to myself, so I’ve taken this as an opportunity to work on my mind and body.”
He further said that this lock-down has really made me realize that no matter how young I am, I don’t have all the time in the world. Akhil said that “Of course, I haven’t spent much time with my parents since I was a child. So, this lockdown time has brought us closer.”
On the other hand, touted to be a romantic love story, the film is being bankrolled by Bunny Vas and Vasu Varma under the banner of GA2 Pictures. Pooja Hegde is the female lead. The movie is set to release in theatres in April. But the makers may decide to postpone its release due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
