In this digital world, no one’s privacy is secure and after the advent of the various social media apps which became a part of our daily life, our personal details have become more vulnerable to get leaked.
Among all the infamous apps, there are many allegations on the social media giant Facebook that this social networking site tracks and steals the user’s data without their knowledge. And now, once again, Facebook have been up to their old tricks again.
If you are aware of a new feature that Facebook added since the February 1st update, there is a thing that you should know how this social media is giant is fooling us around.
We suggest you look now as you won’t believe what they see. To see what they are seeing, go to Facebook settings, scroll down to Your Facebook Information. Click on Off-Facebook Activity. You can see the list in Manage Your Off-Facebook Activity. It is to obtain your minute-to-minute data from your phone through your activities which you do even though you are offline on Facebook.
Solution: To shut it down… in the same setting, click on ‘More Options’. Go into Manage Future Activity and turn it off. You may want to clear the history as well.
So, if you have no patience to do the same again and again, we recommend you use a separate mobile for Facebook, FB messenger and Instagram apps or don’t do any personal stuff on your phone with the FB app still present in your regular mobile.
