It is known that from today, the central government has given some relaxations from lockdown restrictions to keep the economy back on track. In various parts of the country, there have been many exemptions and coming to both Telugu states the lockdown rules are varied in Andhra and Telangana.
In yesterday’s press meet, KCR said that there won’t be any exemptions and the implementation of the lockdown will be strict just as before but Jagan’s government has given conditional easing to many sectors.
In AP, public and private partnership industries are relaxed from the restrictions along with food manufacturing companies, soaps manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, masks and bodysuits manufacturing industries.
On the other side, KCR made it clear that no shop or industry will run from today and in fact extended the lockdown from May 3rd to May 7th. He also said that the curfew timings are also made stringent.
In Andhra Pradesh, banks, Post offices and Petrol bunks would be active as well as Supermarkets in the risk-free zone are permitted to open.
Cold storages warehouses, agro-industries, bakery and chocolate making industries are also exempted in AP. All e-commerce companies such as Amazon, Walmart and Flipkart’s operations would continue as usual.
