A few days after the COVID-19 outbreak every one had a question in mind. Isn’t there are single person, especially a medical practitioner that detected this deadly virus in its early stage? Later they came to know about the astonishing fact that there is a person named Dr. Li Weniang who warned and alarmed about this deadly Virus by predicting its severity and capability.
Unfortunately he was arrested when the the government thought that he was speeding false news that induces panic among people. He is popularly known as the whistle blower of the COVID-19 and was reprimanded for doing so and breathed his last breath while treating the COVID-19 patients.
Now, another whistle blower named Ai Fen, director of the emergency at Wuhan Central hospital came into limelight after everyone came to know that she was disappeared under dramatic circumstances. She is the one who has earlier criticized the authorities for their handling of the pandemic.
Till now, her whereabouts remained unknown. She was reprimanded when she had alerted her superiors and colleagues of a SARS-like virus seen in patients in December. We need to appreciate her bravery for taking a firm stand against the system but every effort that she put had become invain.
“If I had known what was to happen, I would not have cared about the reprimand. I would have fucking talked about it to whoever, where ever I could,” these are her last words this world had heard when she had an interview earlier.
