Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu proved his super stardom yet again by notching up 9 million followers on micro-blogging site Twitter. With this, he has become the first actor in South India to reach 9 million followers on Twitter.
With the handle @urstrulyMahesh, Mahesh Babu is very active on social media, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and he keeps sharing updates about his projects, posts pictures of family vacation, appreciate the promising films of other actors, and wishes the prominent personalities etc.
To note, the ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ actor joined Twitter in April 2010. As per Twitter’s #ThisHappened 2019 data, Mahesh Babu was the most mentioned personality from the Telugu entertainment industry on the platform.
His recent films “Maharshi” and “Sarileru Neekevvaru” featured in the top five most tweeted about hashtags of the year in the Telugu entertainment category.
Moreover, Mahesh Babu is the only actor from the Telugu film industry to feature on the list of top 10 male entertainment handles in India.
