Director Sukumar hasn’t started his next movie in 2 years. His last movie Rangasthalam is a massive success. It got released in March 2018. Now, his next movie which will have Allu Arjun in lead role will start in March 2020.
As per the latest update Sukumar is waiting for the nod of Stylish Star to begin shoot. It will happen later this month. In the mean time, Sukumar is finishing test shoots. He has recently completed test shoot for Rashmika Mandanna, who is the female lead in the movie.
It is known that the film is based on Red Sandalwood smuggling and will have Chittoor backdrop. Rashmika is playing the role of a Chittoor girl who is based out in forests.
To get the look right, Sukumar has recently done the test shoot and he is satisfied with it. The film has completed a small shoot portion in Kerala forests last month. But the actual shoot is yet to start.
