US President Donald Trump is all set to land in India soon. His two day trip includes a road show, special event and sightseeing as well. While his wife, First Lady of the US, Melania Trump will be additionally visiting a Government School in Delhi among others in her itinerary.
But of all these, the most interesting point that the whole world is curious about is, “Will Donald Trump speak on CAA in his trip to India?”
Since the time CAA was made into a law in India, there were mixed reactions from the world forum. These are not personal opinions of the leaders.
Each country will have a history shared between them and India and based on that, plus their stand on certain aspects of international politics.
So, as always is Trump going to express his personal feeling about CAA or is he going to stick to the US agenda as per their foreign policy?
The main reason for Trump’s visit to India is to seek the support of Modi in the upcoming elections in USA. He also wishes to woo Indian based voters settled in US.
While White House had announced on Friday that Trump will be discussing CAA with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit on 24th and 25th of February.
