Vijay Deverakonda has last year started a project with the title Hero with so much buzz around it. Mythri Movie Makers is the production house behind the project and debutante Anand Annamalai has given the responsibilities of helming the project.
First schedule of the film got completed in Delhi and producers got a big shock as only for this schedule almost 5 Crores was spent with not so much satisfactory product. The project was put on hold since then and the flops of Dear Comrade and the recent World Famous Lover has not done any good to the movie.
Before the release of World Famous Lover, Vijay Deverakonda said that Hero is not scrapped but the project is On. But the result of WFL it is said that Vijay has changed his mind. He has decided to shelve the project. Vijay will do another project with Mythri Movie Makers to compensate the losses for Hero.
Vijay, on the other hand, has kept his focus on Puri Jagannath’s film which has the backdrop of boxing. Ananya Panday is the female lead in the movie which will have Pan India release.
After the completion of this project, Vijay Deverakonda will star in Shiva Nirwana’s direction who is currently canning Tuck Jagadish with Nani.
