Just before the 2019 general elections, the YSR Congress Party benefitted big time by making the AP people believe that Chandra Babu and Pawan Kalyan have been in alliance unofficially. Chandra Babu always shows a soft corner on Pawan Kalyan proving this statement and Pawan Kalyan’s silence also worked in the favour of Jagan.
Now, Pawan Kalyan clarified his stand by forming an alliance with the BJP. Chandra Babu has become a lone fighter and the recent IT raids sent jitters into his spine. Many TDP leaders were raided and thousands of crores were caught with the former PS of CBN.
So the YSRCP has started its gamble by demanding Pawan Kalyan to comment on the IT raids which point out Chandra Babu in all corners. Pawan remained silent and did not comment on these trending raids. But, Chandra Babu seems too worried than the YCP with Pawan Kalyan’s silence.
The point is if Pawan Kalyan makes a statement against the YSRCP by alleging that the raids were conducted by the Jagan’s government, it reflects the secret alliance between Babu and Pawan. CBN is expecting the same as he doesn’t want Pawan as his rival, particularly under these circumstances.
On the other side, Jagan Mohan Reddy is also bewildered by the Pawan’s silence as he has no chance to project Pawan Kalyan as a politician with double standards. Pawan played cleverly at this juncture by remaking the silence without giving anything for his rivals to pounce on him.
