In the year 2017, a novelist named Shyamala Rani lodged a police complaint against the makers of Prabhas and Kajal Agarwal starrer ‘Mr. Perfect’. Directed by Dasaradh, the movie is alleged to be the extraction of Shyamala Rani’s novel ‘Naa Manasu Ninnu Kore’.
Shyamala Rani raised an objection after she found that the movie Mr.Perfect bears resemblance to her publication novel. A complaint was filed against star producer Dil Raju under the Copyright Act. The latest report on this regard is that the City Civil Court of Hyderabad has matched the stories and found that there are some similarities.
On the other hand, director Dasaradh has denied that the story of Mr.Perfect has been copied. He even added that Shyamala Rani’s novel was published in 2010, while he had narrated the script of Mr.Perfect to Dil Raju in the year 2008.
