Jagan is leaving no stone unturned after some unpredictable things happened on the three capital bill recently. Now, Amaravati protests are not all a problem for Jagan as he is busy with the dissolution of the legislative council and once it happens it will be all Jagan’s mania all over the state. But Jagan should have heeded to farmers’ voice at least once to avoid the future troubles.
TDP government, in its rule, carried a keen study on the people’s lifestyle and financial status of the 29 villages which are situated in the capital region. For the betterment of their lives, they issued social pensions along with the construction of houses for the poor. These homes were constructed at a rapid pace along with the employees, minsters’ and other quarters.
350 crore rupees were spent to build houses for 7876 homeless families. In the first schedule, 5,024 flats were taken in 8 areas and 157 blocks were registered in 44 acres of land. After some time, the final step has arrived and handling of the documents to the eligible candidates was the only thing left just before the elections. At that stage, the government was changed and so did those poor people’s fate.
Jagan’s government abandoned those constructed houses and neglected the repeated appeals by the people who are daily wage workers and coolis. Now was the three capital bill was introduced, the YCP government decided to issue new lands to those people instead of the constructed houses by the previous government. This is absolutely utter injustice from them and the people are very agitated with their decision.
So, as of now, in this heat period, these unlucky people are going to let their voices reach Jagan through an intensive protest. This is certainly a piece of bad news for Jagan who was already under tremendous pressure. Can Jagan turn the things around or succumb to more pressure?
