Megastar Chiranjeevi’s patriotic drama Syeraa Narasimha Reddy in which the Mega Star played the role of an forgotten leader Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy has performed decently in its Theatrical run.
The movie is a major hit in Telugu States with collected more than 100 Cr share while the rest of the languages have ended in flop. Even Tamil version too didn’t perform according to the expectations.
However, the film has performed exceptionally well in its first premiere in Television for Tamil. It has got 15 TVR which is very good considering a dubbed release. However, Telugu version has got less TVR than Tamil version considering the fact that Chiranjeevi has got immense craze in Telugu States. The film has only collected 11.8 TVR with 8741 impressions.
The film got telecast on Sankranthi festival which might be the reason for low TVRs in Telugu States. Directed by Surender Reddy the film has Tamannah, Nayantara playing the female leads. Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu have played important roles in the movie. Amit Trivedi has composed music for the project.
