AP CM YS Jagan attended the CBI court after a very long gap. Disproportionate assets case has been haunting several politicians in YSRC and the CBI is not ready to extend exemption to YS Jagan for not attending the court due to the CM duty. YS Jagan reached Begumpet airport in special flight and the Telangana Police arranged tight security on the way to the CBI court.
As per the insiders’ information, more pressure is on YS Jagan in the CBI court. Vijaya Sai Reddy, who is considered to be the accused No.2 in this case too attended the court. Critical people in the case, IAS officer Sri Lakshmi, YSRC party leader Dharmana Prasad Rao, industrialist Shyamaprasad Reddy and few others appeared in the court along with YS Jagan. The court has adjourned the case to January 17th. CBI is expecting to take the case at good speed from now on, putting pressure on the accused people to attend the court regularly.
Tackling the Amaravathi protests and the disproportionate assets case at the same time is a tough challenge for YS Jagan.
