In a few of the media channels, it was reported that Pawan Kalyan jumped the queue and directly walked into the polling booth to cast his vote. The popular national media tried to sensationalize the news, by creating all the required hullabaloo around it. But the fact was revealed much later.
Reportedly when Pawan Kalyan entered and joined the queue at the polling booth in Vijayawada to use his voting right, heavy crowds gathered and tried to pose for the selfies. Unwilling to create much disturbances, the police asked the Janasena Chief, to directly walk into the booth for voting and leave the place with no delay.
A few of the voters, who were the live witness to the incident have revealed the fact. Even when the guy tried to reveal the fact to the journalist, he was not allowed to do so. The same was posted to the concerned national media on Twitter, who then faced severe flak from the Janasainiks and also the common netizens.
Reacting to the issue, the popular Telugu filmmaker Maruthi tweeted, “Mam pls don’t try to “sensationalize” things. If surrounded situation is like that can @PawanKalyan garu create more ruckus by standing at que? At least LISTEN PROPERLY what the red shirt person at the location (in Que) saying. Why U cut down his voice in middle? @CNNnews18 pic.twitter.com/HM98ddCFvQ
The experts opine that, most of the Telugu media channels have been compromised for the two main political parties in Andhra Pradesh- TDP and YSRCP and are working only with the intention of maligning the image of their opposition parties, irrespective of the truth in it. Several times in the past, the channels backed by both the parties, have severely busted Pawan Kalyan. Looks like, even the national media has joined the list of channels that dance according to the tunes of Andhra pradesh’s two big political parties.
