Manda Krishna Madiga, a representative of Madiga community has come forward in support of Ravela Kishore Babu, who belongs to the same community.
Ravela Kishore Babu is an MLA candidate from Janasena Party and is contesting from Prathipadu constituency for the upcoming assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. He earlier worked in TDP and came out of it, after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu allegedly kept him away from the active roles. Referring to the same, Manda Krishna Madiga said that Ravela was ignored by TDP only for his commitment towards Madiga community.
“We called up to vote for NOTA in all the assembly constituencies, but when it comes to Prathipadu constituency, I believe Ravela Kishore Babu will work for the development of the Madiga community and so I appeal to Prathipadu Madiga community to vote for him,” Manda Krishna said.
Referring to other party candidates who are contesting from the Madiga community in Prathipadu, Manda Krishna said to balance the positives and negatives between the candidates and thus pick their leader wisely. He stressed on his confidence on Ravela, and opined that he would be the right candidate among all the contesting candidates in Prathipadu constituency.
While several felt that he would assure any support to Janasena Party on the whole and speak any few words about the party chief Pawan Kalyan, Manda Krishna restricted himself to utter only about Ravela and maintain mum about other things. Except for Prathipadu, the Madiga representative asked his community voters to vote for NOTA.
Though not a direct support to Janasena Party as a whole, Manda Krishna’s support to Ravela is expected to bring positive vibes to Janasena as a whole and thus increase the voting share to the party from the entire Madiga community across the state, the analysts opine.
