All those who think Kajal made it just because she is glamorous or because she is a pretty doll are wrong. There has been a lot of hard work that went in and also some bitter lessons learnt which made her what she is today.
During the making of Lakshmi Kalyanam, she was naïve, inexperienced and came to the set like a lump of clay but Teja made her strong and taught her lessons that were hard.
He has the habit of being tough and difficult on the artistes and he does that to bring out the best in them. He even slapped a few heroes who worked in his films. So Kajal couldn’t dance well and was bugging the director, wasting time.
He was so upset and angry that he told Kalyan Ram..are you hitting her or do I hit her? Kalyan Ram slapped her hard.
People will deny this news but there were many technicians were at the location at that point of time. Kajal even begged Teja to teach her how to do a scene differently and she learnt it.
