Some movies become instant hits, while some fail to make an impact due to various reasons.
Majorly, the audience needs to be impressed with the film as the word of mouth contributes to the success of the film. However, Balakrishna’s latest movie ‘Ruler’ did not seem to work in favor of the moviegoers.
As this movie failed to leave a lasting impression, Balakrishna’s next film with Boyapati is facing budget problems.
Going into the details, producer of Balayya’s next outing, Ravindar Reddy is in plans to cut down the budget of this movie.
As Balakrishna’s previous movies ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’, ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’ and now ‘Ruler’ were dud at the box office, Ravindar Reddy is planning to cut down the remuneration of director and the actor and spend that money to improve the quality of the movie.
He asked the duo to share the profits after the release of the movie. An insider close to the team says, for this reason, the movie was kept on hold and it will be revived when Boyapati and Balakrishna express their opinion on profit sharing basis.
Now, we will have to see, how the actor and director duo respond to this request.
