It looks like tough days are ahead for Nandamuri Balakrishna. Already the actor is coming from two back to back disasters in the form of NTR Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu. Now his latest film Ruler is releasing on December 20th.
However, his film has no craze whatsoever. With multiple films releasing in short span, distributors are not coming for Ruler. With no option left, producer C. Kalyan is releasing the film with 15 crores deficit.
Ruler trailer invited many trolls with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s police avatar makeup looks odd. His makeup in corporate professional looks stylish though.
Moreover, Ruler trailer is said to be routine with regular mass masala elements offering nothing new. The film’s fate will decide on the factor how Nandamuri fans receives the film.
At this point of time, chances look bleak. The film has to perform exceedingly well to cover the deficits.
However there is huge competition for Ruler which is making things very tough. Sai Dharam Tej’s Pratiroju Pandage, Karthi’s Donga is releasing in the same day that Ruler is releasing along with Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3.
Venky Mama will release on December 13th. If the film gets good response it will be much more difficult for Balakrishna.
On December 25th, there are two small budget flicks releasing Iddari Lokam Okate and Mathu Vadalara. It will be interesting to see, ho Balakrishna responds to this tough situation.
