Akkineni Nagarjuna has had a disastrous year as he had only film releasing and that too had bombed at box office big time. From the past few years, nothing is going in the way Nagarjuna wanted.
In 2018, Nagarjuna had two flops Officer and Devdas. So he hope that 2019 will change his fortunes. After much thought, Nagarjuna has given chance to Rahul Ravindran whose debut film Chi La Sow is a decent hit. They had even taken the Manmadhudu title for their movie.
Titled Manmadhudu 2, Nagarjuna – Rahul combo hasn’t worked well. It even brought many trolls on Nagarjuna. The collections were too bad. With no hits in two years Nagarjuna’s career is only going downwards.
However, though Nag doesn’t have a hit, his debut as Bigg Boss host has got good response. Audience have liked Nag as a host. He is cool and treated well all the participants. Bigg Boss management is trying to rope in Nag as host for next season too.
Coming to next year, Nag hasn’t okayed any other project yet. Though Bangarraju is in pipeline from some time, Nagarjuna hasn’t given his nod.
It is rumoured that Manmadhudu 2 actor will give chance to a debutante Solomon who is a prodigy of Vamsi Paidipally. Can Nag manage to score a hit atleast in 2020 has to be seen.
