Beeda Masthan Rao, who is known to be a loyal person to TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has shockingly joined in YSRCP now.
Masthan Rao had been inactive in politics after he lost in last general elections of Andhra Pradesh. After taking a short gap, he quit TDP and joined in ruling party in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Rajya Sabha MP Vijaysai Reddy and Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav have accompanied him.
Speaking to the media after joining the party, Rao said that he got attracted to Jagan’s ruling as the young CM has already implemented 80% of the promises made before the elections. Rao further clarified that he had no differences with anyone in TDP.

Masthan Rao won as an MLA from Kavali in 2009 elections. But just like many other TDP leaders who lost in the YSRCP wave in the last elections, even Rao lost to the ruling party’s candidate in the 2019 elections, when he contested for Nellore Lok Sabha seat.
