There has been a debate in Andhra Pradesh on YSRC’s implementation of English medium in Government schools. TDP strongly commented on YSRC saying that the party previously mocked TDP for proposing the thought. Responding to all the comments, YS Jagan stated that the people who commented negatively on this topic should leave hypocrisy and should give value to democracy.
To the question asked on the students suddenly coping up with English medium, YS Jagan mentioned that his team is working on implementing bridge course for smooth transition. These bridge courses were intended to help students shift from Telugu medium to English medium.
YS Jagan stated that 3500 Crores will be spent on this project which will change the future of 45000 Government schools. Fees reimbursement for students going to higher education is in the plan of YS Jagan. Students in hostels will be given Rs.20000 per year as living allowance. With the skill development program, YS Jagan stated that the YSRC party gave jobs to 4 lakh people in 5 months.
