Even though TDP was quite upset with the last elections, Chandra Babu Naidu and the party took the role of opposition quite seriously. TDP is closely following YSRC’s moves, counting on each and every mistake the party is committing. Chandra Babu Naidu decided to start the attack with the sand crisis issue and named it as “Isuka Deeksha”.
Chandra Babu Naidu will fight against YSRC through “Isuka Deeksha” starting from 8AM in Vijayawada Dharnachowk. The Deeksha will last till end of the day and the party called people from almost 125 different occupations to support the movement.
With this Deeksha, Chandra Babu Naidu is demanding the YSRC government to do justice to the workers who lost their employment and lives due to the sand crisis. An amount of Rs.10000 per month for the workers who lost employment and an amount of Rs.25 lakhs for the families of the workers who committed suicide, is the main demand. The TDP leader finalized that the sand in the state should be free for every person. Political analysts are considering “Isuka Deeksha” as a warning sign from TDP to YSRC on the aspect of corruption.
