The hype surrounding Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming starrer Bigil (Whistle in Telugu) is enormous and the film has already turned out to be a big hit in the trade circuits. Touted to be a sports-based action film, the film is expected to set big records at the box office, and now, according to the reports, the film has done brilliant pre-release business as well. Bigil’s pres-release business in AP and Telangana have already been sold for a whopping Rs 10.31 crores.

Whistle, the 63rd film of Vijay, has been directed by Atlee. The film marks his third association with Atlee after Theri and Mersal. Bigil was backed by AGS Entertainment. The film also stars Nayanthara, Vivek, Kathir, Jackie Shroff, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Rajkumar, Devadarshini, Yogi Babu, Soundararaja and G Gnanasambandam and others.
