Just a couple of days back, we have reported that Victory Venkatesh and Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya’s most-anticipated multi-starrer Venky Mama will join the Pongal race by releasing the film on January 14th.
But there is no official confirmation about the film’s release date.
However, the latest speculation doing round on social media is the makers are still in dilemma to figure out a proper release date for the film.
It was earlier said that the film’s producer Suresh Babu Daggubati held a meeting with all the distributors and finalized the release date as January 14th.
But, now the latest reports suggest that the makers are planning to change the release date from January 14th to December 6th.
The reason behind the film’s preponement is said to be that as there is a high competition during Pongal reason, the distributors opposed to take up the film at the festive season.
So, the makers are still in decision mode to finalize the release date.
Initially, the makers planned to release the film during Christmas. But, due to the delay in shooting schedules, the makers now postponed the film.
We have already reported that the film’s producer Suresh Babu Daggubati held a meeting with all the distributors to finalize the release date.
The film is being directed by Bobby and the shooting is progressing at a jet speed and is nearing completion.
The film also stars Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput as the female leads.
