Megastar Chiranjeevi’s epic historical drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy released on October 2nd and is doing decent business at the worldwide box office. Due to positive mouth publicity, Sye Raa opened to superb collections in AP/Telangana.
In AP/Telangana, Sye Raa managed to collect Rs 38.22 Crore on its opening day. With this, Sye Raa broke the records of Prabhas’s Saaho that stood second by collecting Rs 36.01 Crore share on its first day till now.
But, Sye Raa did not get enough craze in other languages. Due to this, this movie has failed to beat Baahubali 2 and Saaho records.
Pan-India movies Baahubali 2 and Saaho has collected Rs 100 Crore gross worldwide on their first day. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which was released as a Pan-India film did not break those records.
Sye Raa has collected Rs 81.4 Crore gross across the globe on its first day. As Sye Raa did not get enough craze in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi alike Telugu.
But, distributors believe that the Dussehra season, long-weekend will help the magnum opus to collect fantastic collections at the box office.
