Prabhas and Nag Ashwin have come together for Kalki 2898 AD which is one of the biggest projects in production in Indian cinema. As the project nears the completion of the shoot, there are interesting theories on the film’s release date.
The latest we hear is that the film is still contemplating on the June release slot which is looking increasingly likely in the current scenario.
In any case, the chances are tha the film will certainly be released only after the Telugu states election results are out – which is on the 4th of June. An official announcement on the release date could be made only after the election dust is settled.
But for now, fans are concerned about the lack of clarity on the release date and it has to be seen how long this wait will continue.
