The film Dear, starring GV Prakash and Aishwarya Rajesh, falls into the genre of a quirky family comedy-drama. It is directed by Anand Ravichandran and produced by Varun Tripuraneni, Abhishek Ramisetty, and G Pruthviraj of Nutmeg Productions Pvt. Ltd.
The movie will release in Tamil on April 11th, followed by the Telugu version on April 12th. Annapurna Studios secured the theatrical rights for the Andhra region, while Asian Cinemas obtained the rights for Telangana. With their extensive theatrical chains, these production and distribution houses are poised to give the movie a substantial release in the Telugu states.
The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, whose recent hit song “Mastaaru Mastaaru” continues to dominate the charts.The two Tamil songs released already are chart busters and will be released in Telugu soon. ‘Dear’ features an ensemble cast including Kaali Venkat, Ilavarasu, Rohini, Thalaivasal Vijay, Geetha Kailasam, and Nandini. Behind the camera, cinematographer Jagadeesh Sundaramurthy is capturing the visuals.
