The governor of Telangana, Tamilisai Sounderajan has decided to call it quits for her time as the governor of the state as she submitted her resignation a short while ago.

Tamilisai has been intending to contest from Tamil Nadu in the coming Lok Sabha election and in tune with the same, she decided to quit as Telangana governor.

The lady firebrand took charge as the governor of Telangana in 2019 and has been in office for the last 5 years. She has a fierce repetition and raises her voice on contemporary issues without any hesitation.

Tamilisai will be heading to Tamil Nadu soon, where she is expected to field her nomination from a parliament seat in the state. Her time as Telangana governor has come to an end now with her resignation. The resignation was sent to the president of India.
