Telangana state capital Hyderabad City is one of the biggest cities in the world with a high population, and is also home to a large number of IT companies and IT employees. The city is ever expanding, and as a result, the traffic is also quite heavy during peak hours. The concerned officials and the traffic department seem to be taking measures to get the situation under control, but it’s not enough.
A traffic situation in Manikonda has been disrupting the lives of citizens for the past one month. The roads from Manikonda and Puppalaguda to Lanco hills are one of the most important way of transportation for software employees in Hyderabad, most of whom have made these areas their home. As such, on a daily basis, they use these routes to travel to their offices, and back from it. For the past one month, residents of these areas, and those using these routes are facing severe problems because of road closure.
The road from Marichettu to Andhra Bank is closed, and one lane in front of Mount Litera is also closed at the same time, resulting in a major commuting problem for a majority of the population living in this area.
Apart from severe traffic jaym, residents are also taking an extreme amount of time to get to their houses. Those living in these areas have taken to social media and have appealed to the concerned authorities to take care of the problem immediately and open the closed roads which would ease everyone’s situations. It is now to be seen what will happen. Considering that nothing has been done by the officials so far, it is high time that something be done, so that the citizens can lead a stress free life, and can go to their homes after a stressful day at the office.
