Produced by Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Limited, Zee Studios and Suparn S Varma, ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’ is inspired by true events. It is a courtroom drama starring Manoj Bajpayee in and as lawyer P.C Solanki. It is the story of an ordinary man – a high court lawyer who single-handedly fought an extraordinary case against the country’s biggest Godman and ended up prosecuting him for the rape of a minor under the POCSO act.
With the film’s release in Tamil and Telugu versions, the platform has reached out to a wider variety of Indian viewers. The film has witnessed an outstanding performance across languages becoming the first film to clock the fastest 400MN+ viewing minutes across all ZEE5 movies.
A screening of the film was held for the media fraternity in Hyderabad today which was graced by Manoj Bajpayee where he interacted with the media about the success of the film and the release in Tamil and Telugu languages.
