On the occasion of Mahanadu today, the Telugu Desam Party troops have accumulated at Rajahmundry. Speaking at the event, TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu addressed the public and he announced the party manifesto for the next elections.
20 lakh jobs will be created for the youth if TDP gets to power, and the unemployed will get Rs 3000 per month. Women aged between 18-59 will get Rs 1500 per month. Women can travel free of cost in RTC buses in the district limits.
3 gas cylinders will be distributed free of cost per year for eligible households.
There’s a big scheme for the farmers as well. Each farmer in the state will be getting Rs 20,000 per year.
The manifesto is heavy on freebies, and it is clearly aimed at attracting the masses. Will this be the game-changer for the TDP? We shall wait and see.
