Harish Shankar’s Varun Tej, Pooja Hegde, Atharvaa Murali and Mrinalini Ravi starrer ‘Valmiki’ is all set for release this weekend (September 20).
Varun Tej is essaying the role of a gangster in this Telugu remake of Tamil super hit film ‘Jigarthanda’. Kollywood actor Atharvaa Murali is making his Tollywood debut by playing one of the other central characters in this movie.
Stunning actress Pooja Hegde will reprise Lakshmi Menon’s role. In the recently held pre-release event, the makers have released a song making video of the remix number of Sridevi’s hit ‘Velluvachi Godaramma’. It has raised the expectations of the audience.
14 Reels banner has bankrolled this film and Mickey J Meyer has composed the film’s music. The worldwide pre-release business of Valmiki mints Rs 25 Crore Apx. It remains to be seen whether the film lives up to the expectations or not.
