Telangana Chief Minister KCR has very good popularity in the state of Telangana, where neither he nor his party really has any opposition. He is currently gearing up for the general elections in Telangana, and while his prospects in the state look good, the same can’t be said about his prospects in national politics.
For a while now, KCR has been trying to establish himself as a strong alternative in national politics, but no one really showed any interest in joining hands with him, not even the Chief Ministers of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, despite having met with KCR. Prominent leaders like Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee have joined hands together against the BJP, JDU chief Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav are meeting with all the non-BJP parties, like NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, JMM chief and Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, and AAP chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, but not KCR.
With KCR not being of any importance in national politics, it truly seems like BRS is defaming KCR, who prides himself on the development of Telangana. Moreover, with no one aligning with KCR, there’s wide publicity going on, that the leader lacks credibility in politics. It is perhaps time for him to take the necessary action before his image further worsens.
