Featuring young actors Santosh Sobhan and Malavika Nair in the lead roles, Anni Manchi Sakunamule is headed for its theatrical release on the 19th of May.
Coming to the topic, AMS is said to be having a storyline that is similar to Siddharth’s Bava.
Bava deals with family conflicts between two families and it is set in a rural backdrop. The film relies more on family emotions and entertainment.
AMS is also very similar in terms of the script and set-up. But the film has more of an urbane touch and the family emotions will be more refined with the modern audience in mind.
While the core set-up of these films remain similar, we have to see if AMS can be a big hit at the box office, unlike Bava which was an average farer at the box office.
