Young Rebel Star Prabhas is set to be seen as Lord Ram in the upcoming film Adipurush, directed by Bollywood director Om Raut. The film marks the Bollywood debut of Prabhas, who gained pan-Indian stardom and a massive fan following, post the release of the Baahubali franchise.
Adipurush was initially scheduled to be released for Sankranthi this year, but got postponed as the reception the teaser received was very bad, since the visual effects and character design of many characters was very bad. As such, the film’s release was pushed to June. It was announced that the film would be released on June 16th, and the film is currently scheduled to be released on the same date.
On the other hand, the trailer is expected to be released on May 9th. All of this is while still there are many doubts over whether or not the visual effects of the film have been improved, as several sources have been saying that there hasn’t been much improvement in the visuals department. With the film still scheduled to arrive on time and no improvement going on for the visuals, it is to be seen how this decision is going to impact the film.
