Ajay Bhupathi of ‘RX 100’ has written the story and screenplay of ‘Mangalavaaram’, his up-and-coming directorial that is currently in the making. Its concept poster today came with some exciting nuggets of information about the movie.
Billed as a concept-driven, uniquely-narrated film, the 2023 release features thirty varied characters with a multitude of motives and traits. Bhupathi handled the layered story of ‘RX 100’ with adeptness. And ‘Mangalavaaram’ is potentially his most sure-footed film. “The characters are necessary and make perfect sense,” the makers suggest.
A Creative Works (recently launched by the ‘Maha Samudram’ director himself) and Mudhra Media Works (floated by Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M) are going to release this movie in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
B Ajaneesh Loknath, whose nimble music for multiple genres (read ‘Kantara’, ‘Vikrant Rona’, ‘Kirrak Party’ and more) is famous, has joined cinematographer Dasaradhi Sivendra. Raghu Kulkarni and Raja Krishnan are handling the art and sound design departments, respectively
